What equipment does JR Electronics And Services repair?
We repair PLCs, HMIs/operator panels, VFDs (AC/DC drives), servo drives and motors, encoders, CNC control modules, and power supplies — primarily Siemens (802D, 810D, 828D, 840D/DI/DSL, SINAMICS, MICROMASTER, MASTERDRIVE), along with Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, ABB, Lenze, Danfoss, Fanuc, KEB, Bosch Rexroth and other major automation brands. If you're not sure whether your part is covered, send us the model/part number and we'll confirm.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most PLC, HMI and VFD repairs are completed in 3–7 working days from the day we receive the unit and confirm the fault. Complex CNC control modules or parts needing sourced components can take longer — we'll give you a realistic turnaround window with your quote, not just an optimistic estimate.
Do repaired parts come with a warranty?
Yes. Every repair job we ship out is backed by a service warranty. If the same fault recurs within the warranty period, we fix it again at no extra charge. Warranty terms are confirmed on your quote before you approve the job.
Do you repair at the component level, or just swap boards?
Component level. We diagnose down to the individual PCB component — capacitors, ICs, driver stages, power sections — rather than replacing an entire board for a single failed part. This keeps repair costs down and means we're not dependent on OEM board availability for older or discontinued models.
Do you offer on-site / field service, or only bench repair?
Both. If the issue is configuration, data loading, wiring or commissioning-related and the machine can't be shipped, we depute a service engineer to your site for diagnosis and fix. We provide field support across Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu, with PAN-India support for larger engagements. For most electronic faults (blown components, dead boards), sending the unit to our workshop is faster and more cost-effective.
What if my part turns out to be unrepairable or obsolete?
We offer a buyback option — if a part is beyond repair or the model is obsolete, we'll replace it with a new or refurbished equivalent at a lower cost than an OEM replacement, so your machine is back up without a long search for discontinued stock.
How much will my repair cost?
It depends on the fault and the part — component-level repairs are priced against what's actually damaged, not a flat board-swap rate. Share your equipment type, brand/model, and a description or photo of the fault (nameplate photo helps too), and we'll confirm scope and cost, usually within one business day, before any work begins.
Do you also offer preventive maintenance, not just breakdown repair?
Yes. We identify machines suited for preventive maintenance and schedule it during non-productive hours to avoid future breakdowns — including systematic inspection of modules and motors, detecting worn or weak components, and replacing them before they fail on the line.
How do I send in a unit for repair?
Fill in the repair request form with your equipment details and fault description (a photo of the fault or nameplate speeds up diagnosis). We'll review it, confirm scope and cost by phone or email, then share the shipping address and any packing notes. No payment is taken at the quote stage.
Where are you located, and which areas do you serve?
Our workshop is in Karumathampatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu — we primarily serve textile mills and machine shops across Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem, with PAN-India shipping for repairs and spares.
